Growing in New Zealand

This intermediate-level cultivar can suit hot, humid, hot, dry and temperate settings. In New Zealand, outdoor planting generally aligns with spring, from September to November, once conditions are reliably warm. Local temperatures, rainfall, daylight and exposure can vary considerably, so growers should select a sheltered, sunny position with good airflow and free-draining soil.
