Kiwi Seed Bank uses source material to prepare catalogue and article content.
Sources and regional versions
Catalogue descriptions use existing source copy. Regional versions can be translated or localised, with source qualifications retained and region-specific assertions removed when they do not apply. A translation is not new field research or independent verification of local conditions. Where a page provides references, use those references to examine the basis and scope of its statements.
Limits of review
Checks do not establish that every statement is correct or amount to independent testing or qualified legal or medical review.
Dates and illustrations
Publication dates record actual public release rather than a planned slot or the date a topic was first prepared. A separate written date is shown when an authorship date is recorded. Illustrations are not evidence that a pictured specimen was grown, tested or supplied by this site.
