Growing in New Zealand

This is an intermediate-level cultivar suited to attentive growers who can manage vigorous growth, odour and moisture. It may perform in hot, dry or temperate conditions. In New Zealand, outdoor planting typically takes place during spring, from September to November, once local temperatures are stable. Timing should reflect regional conditions, as Northland, central districts and the cooler South Island can have notably different growing windows.
