Slurricane is a feminised, indica-dominant photoperiod hybrid created from Do-Si-Dos × Purple Punch genetics. Its profile is approximately 60% indica and 40% sativa, combining sturdy growth with generous branching. THC potential is listed at 20–25%, while CBD is listed at 0–0.5%. Results can vary with phenotype, environment and grower skill.

The flavour and aroma profile blends berry, grape and sweet fruit with cream, vanilla and an earthy finish. Caryophyllene, limonene and myrcene are the principal listed terpenes. Individual experiences differ, but some adults describe the effects as happy, euphoric or uplifted at first, followed by a relaxed and sleepy feeling. Its rich dessert-style character may appeal to growers who favour sweet, fruit-led cultivars.

Growing in New Zealand

Kiwi Seed Bank presents Slurricane as an intermediate-level option suited to controlled indoor spaces and warm, sheltered outdoor positions. It performs best in temperate or hot, dry conditions. In New Zealand, outdoor planting generally aligns with spring, from September to November, once local temperatures are stable and damaging cold snaps are less likely.

Choose a position with strong direct light, good airflow and well-draining soil or growing media. Its indica influence supports a substantial structure, though plants can stretch and develop a broad canopy. Regular observation is useful in humid districts, where spacing and airflow can reduce the risk of mould around dense flowers. Always follow the rules that apply in your location.

Indoor

Indoor plants may reach up to 140 cm. Slurricane responds well to early canopy shaping, supported branches and even light distribution. Allow enough horizontal room for side growth, and avoid excessive humidity as flowering progresses. Outdoor

Outdoors, Slurricane may grow up to 220 cm in a favourable position. Its potential size makes early planning important, particularly when selecting spacing and support. Warm, dry summers are preferable, while growers in wetter regions should prioritise morning sun, airflow and shelter from prolonged rain.

The listed outdoor yield is up to 1,000 g per plant under suitable conditions. Actual performance varies widely according to seasonal weather, planting time, soil quality and care. Strong stakes or a supportive frame may help hold flower-laden branches later in the season.

Harvest

Flowering typically takes around eight to nine weeks indoors. For New Zealand outdoor gardens, harvest generally falls between March and May, depending on latitude, spring planting date, phenotype and autumn weather. Monitor flower development closely as maturity approaches, and consider local rain and humidity when selecting the final harvest window.
