Pure Indica is a feminised, fully indica selection presented in the Kiwi Seed Bank catalogue. Its reported parentage is OG Kush × Mag, although the available lineage information carries some uncertainty. Plants are expected to show broad leaves, sturdy branching and a compact to medium structure, with indoor height reaching up to 160 cm and outdoor plants up to 180 cm under favourable conditions.

THC is reported at 15–20%, while CBD is listed at 0–2%. Individual experiences vary, but users may describe the effects as calming, happy and deeply relaxed. The aroma and flavour profile combines sweet fruit with a recognisable kush depth. Growing in New Zealand

With an intermediate difficulty level, Pure Indica suits growers who are comfortable monitoring moisture, nutrition, airflow and plant structure. It is listed for hot, dry, temperate and cool, short-season climates, making it adaptable across several New Zealand regions. Local conditions can still vary sharply, so choose a position based on sunlight hours, wind exposure, humidity and overnight temperatures.

For an outdoor cycle, spring planting falls between September and November. Starting after harsh cold has passed can support steady early growth. In damp districts, generous spacing and good air movement can reduce the risk of mould as flowers become denser.

Indoor

Indoors, Pure Indica has a reported flowering period of approximately 8–10 weeks. Its indica structure may suit spaces where controlled height is important, although plants can still reach up to 160 cm. Gentle canopy management can help distribute light across flowering sites. Maintain consistent ventilation and avoid persistently wet growing media, particularly late in bloom.

Reported indoor yield is up to 450 g/m². This figure is a reference rather than an assured outcome; lighting, environment, plant health, container size and grower experience all influence final performance.

Outdoor

Outdoors, plants may reach up to 180 cm and are reported to produce up to 600 g per plant in favourable settings. A sunny, sheltered site with free-draining soil is preferable. Support heavier branches where needed, and inspect dense flowers regularly after rain or prolonged humidity. In cooler areas, selecting the warmest available microclimate can make the most of a shorter season.

Harvest

New Zealand outdoor harvest generally falls from March to May. Timing should be guided by actual flower maturity and local weather rather than the calendar alone. Watch resin development, flower density and natural leaf fade, while keeping an eye on autumn rain. At harvest, handle flowers carefully and dry them gradually in a dark, well-ventilated space to retain their colour, sweet-fruity aroma and favourite kush notes.
