The stated balance is approximately 60% sativa and 40% indica, giving growers a vigorous plant with enough structure to support substantial flowering growth.

THC content is listed at 18–21%, while CBD is listed at 0–0.5%. Individual experiences can vary, but the effects are often described subjectively as energetic, euphoric, happy and uplifting at first, followed by a more relaxed finish. Growing in New Zealand

NYC Diesel is rated as an intermediate-level cultivar. It is best suited to growers who can manage vigorous branching, plant height and environmental consistency. It favours hot, dry or temperate conditions, making site selection important in New Zealand’s varied regional climates.

Good airflow and sensible spacing help reduce risk from excess humidity and mould, especially during damp periods. Its pronounced aroma can become noticeable in flowering, so growers may wish to factor odour management into their setup. As with any seed-grown plant, phenotype, environment and cultivation choices can influence height, timing, colour, aroma and final output.

Indoor

Indoors, NYC Diesel may reach up to 150 cm. Training and an even canopy can help make efficient use of available light while keeping vertical growth manageable. The flowering period is approximately 9–10 weeks.
