Chronic is a feminised, indica-dominant photoperiod hybrid combining Northern Lights, Skunk and AK-47 genetics. Its approximate 80% indica and 20% sativa profile supports sturdy growth, dense flower formation and a classic skunk-led character. Feminised seeds are intended to produce female plants, although natural variation can occur.

THC potential is listed at approximately 15–20%, with CBD at up to 0.2%. Individual experiences are subjective, but Chronic is often described as beginning with a happy, euphoric or uplifting mood before settling into deeper relaxation and a physically heavy sensation. Growing in New Zealand

Chronic is best suited to growers with some prior experience. It generally favours temperate or hot, dry conditions and benefits from steady airflow, measured feeding and careful humidity control as flowers gain weight. Its dense structure can hold moisture, so allow enough room between branches and inspect the canopy regularly to reduce mould risk.

In New Zealand, outdoor planting normally aligns with spring, from September to November, once local temperatures are dependable and late frosts are unlikely. Conditions differ considerably between northern, central and southern areas, so timing should reflect the immediate microclimate. Indoor

Indoors, Chronic can reach up to 140 cm and usually flowers for around eight to nine weeks after the light cycle changes. Harvest

New Zealand outdoor harvest typically falls between March and May. Watch flower maturity and local weather rather than relying only on a calendar date.
