C. Banana Auto can suit hot, dry areas, temperate districts and cooler locations with short summers. For a conventional New Zealand outdoor calendar, spring planting falls between September and November, with the broader seasonal harvest window running from March to May. As an autoflower, however, each plant follows its own age-based cycle, so timing depends on the sowing date and local conditions.

Stable temperatures and shelter from prolonged rain are useful across New Zealand’s changeable climate. In humid districts, generous spacing and consistent airflow can reduce the risk of mould around dense flowers. Avoid keeping the root zone continuously wet, particularly during cool nights.

Indoor
