Growing in New Zealand

In New Zealand, spring planting falls between September and November. Warm, settled conditions are preferable, although temperate areas can also work when plants receive strong light and shelter from prolonged rain or cold nights.

Autoflowers generally have limited time to recover from stress, so gentle handling is important. Start plants in their final container where practical, use a light and well-aerated growing medium, and avoid heavy feeding. Consistent moisture is useful, but allow adequate drainage to reduce the risk of root issues and mould.
