Cannabis seed collection
Cannabis seeds for wind and changeable weather
Wellington, the Manawatū, Taranaki, the Wairarapa and the Kāpiti and Hawke's Bay coasts share a climate that's kind for most of the season and brutal for a few days of it: a nor'wester that flattens anything over a metre tall, a cold southerly in December, and rain that can arrive any month. This range is built for wind and changeable weather — compact, sturdy genetics with strong stems and short internodes, hybrids that finish before the equinox gales, and autoflowers that stay low enough to sit behind a fence or a flax hedge. These strains handle the swing from 28°C to 12°C in a day without stalling, and they've been chosen for structure as much as potency. Every listing notes wind tolerance and expected height, with tips on staking and shelter that make the difference in an exposed Wellington section.
